Walking and not arriving, that is the technique

For many years I posted photos to Instagram each week from my commute to work. Some of that commute was by train. Some of it was walking. Being alert to the images around me was a way to think about the walking instead of the arriving.

This seems like a good space to restart that practice, not on Instagram.

The publication name is a reference to an early form of baseball, or, as the baseball historians call it, ball-and-bat-safe-haven-games.
